Homemade energy balls πŸ’ͺ🏻

I made spirulina energy balls to keep me going today πŸ’ͺ🏻 I have two photo shoots and my workshop to teach in three different colleges in Oxford so I figured I’ll need an extra boost! For anyone that doesn’t know, Spirulina is one of those insanely amazing superfoods that taste horrible πŸ˜– I’ve tried it in all sorts of smoothies and mixtures but I can’t seem to mask the taste it has. I googled ‘spirulina snacks that taste good’ and found this recipe which includes cocoa powder, dates, apricots and cashews and I’m actually quite surprised! I think more cocoa powder wouldn’t be a bad thing next time πŸ˜‹ but overall they taste ok! I class that as a win πŸ‘πŸ»Also in that jar are my homemade chilli and lime cashews and sunflower seeds for an even bigger boost πŸ’š
